Daffodil Planting

Thanks to all the Mum's who came out in today's cold and windy weather to help Rang 6 plant their daffodil bulbs!

Now we just have to sit back and watch them grow...

Here is a sample of some of the still images we created in Drama the other day. Our inspiration was our most vivid images from the novel 'Goodnight Mr Tom' which was a book we all thoroughly enjoyed. 

Christmas Shoe Box Appeal

We know it's early but when we heard about this we were all in agreement that we would like to take part.  

Over the past number of years Team Hope have been sending shoe boxes to boys and girls around the world. For some it will be the only Christmas present they will receive. 

We had 4 criteria to fulfil. 

-Something they could write with

-Something they could wash with

-Something they could wear

-Something to make them go Wow!

The children were so enthusiastic and made a big effort with their shoe boxes, choosing the contents carefully. I hope they are very proud of themselves. 

There will be 20 children around the world very happy this Christmas, because of the kindness and generosity of this 6th class.
